What book or movie have you recently read/seen and why would you recommend it?
I watched the movie “Vivo” with my kids recently and really enjoyed it. I wanted my kids to see the importance of stepping out of your comfort zone and going great lengths to help others. It was a heartwarming movie to watch!
What’s something that recently made you smile?
One of the best hugs I received picking up my kids from school! They went back to school after a year and a half and their smiling faces and warm hugs meant the world to me.
Coffee or tea? Milk in first or last?
I am a chai tea lover and always prefer to cook my chai with milk first!
Tell us two truths and a lie
I love me some juicy steaks
I have swam with sharks
I sing real well
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?
I am a really picky eater to begin with, but on our visit to Bali, I tried Luwak coffee which is made from coffee beans digested by Civet cats! It was actually really tasty.
If you could meet any historical figure, who would they be? Why?
Prophet Muhammad He is the most perfect role model when it comes to his patience, simplicity, humbleness, dedication and much more. Would be a dream to meet such a perfect human being.
What’s the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to you?
So, I am known for my clumsiness, there are probably way too many moments where I have fallen off the stairs, tripped walking or hit my head on something in front of others. Most recently, it would have been walking off of a moving truck and falling 4 feet down onto the driveway in front of my new neighbors!
What’s the weirdest fact you know?
Hmm, that lightning bolt is actually hotter than the surface of the sun.
What do you pretend to hate but actually love?
Would you like to be able to see into the future?
Not at all! I like to live in the moment, not interested in knowing what the future holds in store for me.
