Meet the Team – Lynne Beckham – Associate Consultant

Lynne has over 20 years of experience with information technology and accounting, especially in the property management and education industries.  She has managed complete technology implementations including advising the business on software and hardware solutions, installing the hardware and networking, and training the users.  She enjoys problem solving for customers, and most recently worked for a number of years as a technical support engineer for Salesforce.  This Salesforce background makes her familiar with a wide range of customers and businesses, and the problems that they can be trying to solve.  When she isn’t working, you can find her knitting, gardening, or helping to paddle a dragonboat.

Wanna know some fun facts about our team?

Our very own  Lynne Beckham ( Associate Consultant ) answers our 10 questions :

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

If I don’t have some type of sound going on around me, I get easily distracted.  So if I need to have focus time, I put on some oldies rock and turn the sound up.   My sister says she can always tell when I am in high productivity mode, because she hears the music downstairs!

What’s something you saw recently that made you smile?

I watched the child next door driving his little car around our cul-de-sac.  Little race car driver zooming around, making the car engine sounds as he went.  Vroom!

What’s your favorite color?

A teal green.  Nice and calming, but bright enough to really pop

What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

When I’m not taking care of my mother (she’s had a stroke), I would be knitting or crocheting.  I love making sweaters and other clothing, as well as bags and baskets.

If you could choose a name for yourself, what would it be?

I actually did choose a name for myself! I never liked the first name my parents gave me, because no one ever knew how to pronounce it.  Daphne is actually more common now, but when I was a child it wasn’t.   I had people call me by my middle name, Lynne.  When I got a divorce, I changed it legally and adopted a last name from my family on my mother’s side.

Are you a dog person or a cat person (or neither)?

I have three cats, so I guess that makes me a cat person.  But I love dogs too, and have recently thought about getting a mastiff puppy.

Which season is your favorite?

Autumn, because I get to watch all the trees turn pretty colors.

What’s your favorite TV show—the one you’re always watching on repeat?

Joe Kenda, Homicide Hunter.  I like watching how they catch criminals, and seeing how they figure things out

What’s the top destination on your must-visit list?

Scotland, partially because I have relatives from there (Clan MacDonald!), and partially because of the history.

What trend do you hope makes a comeback?

Circle dresses, like they wore in the 1950’s.  I have a number of them, and wear them to work.
