Meet the Community – Kabuki (Kiki) Ocansey

Agile Cloud Consulting was started by Salesforce MVP Sharif Shaalan with a vision of bringing together tailor fit teams for each individual project to ensure success. After years of helping organizations bring together people, process, and technology it was obvious that “people” is the glue that holds things together. This series gives you a closer look at some of the superstars of the Trailblazer Community!

Wanna know some fun facts about a Trailblazer Community member?

Kabuki (Kiki) Ocansey  answers our 10 questions:

1. What job would you be absolutely terrible at?

Ans: I could never be a CASHIER! I am so terrible at counting money! Even with a counting machine! I could use the whole day trying to bring a count to an end! I don’t find it funny at all but that’s me. I think it may be pathological.

2. What would your perfect Saturday be like?

Ans: Waking up around noon on a beach house with my favourite meal already served, taking a long walk on the beach and making sure I go deep enough into the water to feel it under my feet, on my legs and splashing to the tip of my midi dress, occasionally squeezing the sea water out of the tip of my dress and feeling the heaviness and wetness of the tip of my dress touch my body under the warm, bright and beautiful sun while sipping at my bottle of water or ginger drink! It usually works being alone by myself as I can reflect on the week’s events, but I would sometimes be with my two naughty buddies; Akua and Awusi who are fun to be with! We hang out most often and it is always a healing moment for me! I do not end the day without looking @Trailhead on any day!

3. What would be the worst ingredients to fill a burrito with?

Ans: Rice! I know burrito is Mexican, is it? I have had a couple burrito’s and it is a healthy meal to have with a good drink of one’s choice…my style. However, burrito is not common in my country unless you visit a Continental Eatery or Restaurant. I remember a friend had a not-so-good experience with one restaurant over her burrito because it had rice in the filling and that’s how come I am citing Rice as the worst ingredient; not that I have had any experience with that or know it for a fact.

4. What’s the silliest invention you have heard of?

Ans: The Baby Cage. I mean how do you even think about that? Sticking your baby in the window of your home in a cage to receive fresh air and take a peek at the neighbourhood? Seriously? Not funny at all…but I am smiling at the thought now though. Good it was rejected almost instantaneously!

5. Would you rather always be 10 minutes late or always be 20 minutes early?

Ans: 20 Minutes early will do for me. I am always 15-20 minutes early on my Virtual meetings or Classes! That’s how come I get the opportunity to chat with instructors and organisers and fraternise before each class begins! It has been very beneficial in building my social network. It also ensures you don’t feel worked up and unprepared and panting at your appointment/meeting or event

6. What’s the worst commercial you’ve recently seen? Why is it so bad?

Ans: I honestly cannot point at any particular commercial because those that I consider worst usually have a funny twist to them and in the end will not be considered completely ‘worst’, if you see what I mean…

7. What’s your favourite guilty pleasure when it comes to candy?

Actually, I am not so much a candy person. Personally, I am very particular and cautious about sugary foods…I do Ghanaian Chocolates like crazy and that is quite healthy because it is very rich in Cocoa which has magnesium in nature, full of antioxidants, calcium, zinc, copper and selenium. Cacao contains more antioxidants per gram than blueberries, goji berries, red wine, raisins, prunes and even pomegranates. That is not to say that it does not contain sugars or calories but it is relatively safer and keeps me in Happy Mode when I feel stressed or down for any reason. 🙂

8. What is the absolute best movie you have ever seen?

Ans: Boyz II Men

9. What food do you crave most often?

Ans: My favourite FUFU and Palm Soup. Fufu is a Staple food in Ghana, my Home county and is prepared by boiling Cassava(a root tuber food), full of carbohydrate, then pounding it into a fine smooth mould in a Mortar using a Pestle. You can add boiled unripe plantain that also contain carbohydrate and contains minerals like Magnesium and Potassium.

10. What is your dream car?

Ans: I remember I used to love speeding like crazy when I was much younger. On one occasion I was driving my dad to the hospital and he gently asked me to reduce my speed… I told him I am not the one speeding; that it was the car that is FAST! Today, I do not love to speed so much otherwise, I would say my dream car is the Lamborghini Huracan! But seriously, my dream car has not yet been invented. I am looking at a car that will dispense water, oxygen, chocolates and keep my legs from experiencing muscle pulls and yet not an ambulance! Interesting but custom to my needs. Maybe one day I can afford paying for a custom car made for my needs! (Smiles). Right now, I will drive any trendy car anyone reading this want me to have for a 2021 gift! (Broader Smiles)
